Dr. Thomas W. Gillespie, president and professor of New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary, will speak at Samford University Monday, Feb. 24.
His topic will be "The American Church in Cultural Exile." Gillespie's talk will be at 10 a.m. in Hodges Chapel of Beeson Divinity School. Discussion will follow.
The program is open to the public.
Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, N.J., is a professional and graduate school of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A). Dr. Gillespie is in Birmingham to conduct a series of inspirational services at South Highland Presbyterian Church.
