A word from Miss Samford 2008….

I am so honored to represent Samford University as Miss Samford 2008. This program has opened so many doors for me, especially in the area of community service. Several years ago, I began a fundraising project for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Working with my brother, I created a benefit CD of some of our favorite piano pieces we had played over several years. Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to visit St. Jude's. My experiences there further inspired me to continue supporting the organization and to raise awareness of the successes of pediatric research conducted today.
