STUDENT EMPLOYMENT...

Samford University provides work opportunities for students through the two following programs.  The Federal Work Study program (FWS) is need-based, as determined by the FAFSA, and the Institutional Student Employment Program (ISEP) is not need-based. Follow the steps below to search for and obtain a job through one of Samford's Student Employment Programs:

STEP ONE - Obtain a student job on campus or through the Community Work Service Program.

STEP TWO - Before beginning work and receiving a paycheck, the following forms must be completed and returned to the Payroll Office. Some forms are available online and others must be completed in the Payroll Office located in Room 305 of Samford Hall:

  • Student Employment Program Agreement

  • I-9 Form - Original forms of identification will be needed to comply with Federal government regulations. Click on the I-9 Form link to see the list of acceptable documents. You will need one document from List A or one from List B and List C.
