How to Apply

Samford welcomes applications for admission following the completion of the junior year of high school. Due to the competitive nature of the university, freshman candidates should seek admission in the fall of their senior year. This will allow ample time for admission review and notification. Students who are attending other colleges or universities are eligible to seek admission as transfer candidates.  Applications can be completed online or obtained by contacting the Office of Admission.  

A complete application for entering freshmen includes:

1. Application
2. Personal Statement
3. Leadership Resume
4. Official test scores sent directly from SAT or ACT
5. Official high school transcript
6. Academic Recommendation
7. $35 non-refundable application fee
