The William R. and Fay Ireland Governor's School endowment exists for the purpose of providing funds for the yearly operation of the Alabama Governor's School. Through the generosity of the Irelands and many other supporters, the endowment has over $285,000. The interest from the endowment supports academic and social events during the Alabama Governor's School, and all donors to the endowment are recognized in the AGS opening ceremony and closing ceremony programs.
Alumni, friends, and parents may contribute to either the current operating fund or to the Bill and Fay Ireland Alabama Governor's School endowment. Please send checks to
