Dear Samford alum,

I’m writing to share with you a very special initiative. President Andy Westmoreland has issued a call-to-action for all alumni of the university. His bold vision calls for the mobilization of an army of alumni volunteers to raise support for this beloved university on a scale never before seen. Simply put, we need your help.

Please take a moment to watch Dr. Westmoreland’s video above, and then consider your role in this new army of volunteers. We all have special memories of this place, and our hope is to ensure that students for generations to come will have the same opportunity and privilege to become part of the Samford family. Samford is not just a cluster of beautiful buildings on a Homewood hillside. The real Samford, the lasting Samford, is the thousands of men and women who have called this place home.
