Biographical Information

 Jamorris Rivers is a native of Dadeville, Alabama. In 2005, he graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Spanish and Dance. Jamorris has performed with Alabama Ballet, Southern Danceworks and Arova Contemporary Ballet Company. Jamorris has also performed and toured internationally with Complexions Contemporary Ballet, a world renown dance company noted for its diversity and dynamic choreography. Jamorris transitioned to study the healing arts at Red Mountain Institute. There he received dual certification in Clinical Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. He also attended the Vedic Conservatory and is dedicated to the teachings of Michael "Mukti" Buck in Nuad Borarn, Classical Thai Yoga Bodywork. At Champion Sports Medicine St. Vincient's Hospital, Jamorris worked as a technician gaining a variety of experience and practice before joining The Yoga Circle. Jamorris has taught dance for Alabama Ballet, The American Ballet Theater Summer Intensives, Samford University and Birmingham Southern College. Now a post-baccalurate student, Jamorris is studying health related sciences as well as being an anatomy lab teaching assistant for the UAB Biology Department. Jamorris is licensed by the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy. He practices massage regularly at The Yoga Circle and at Richard Joseph Salon Spa in English Village
