There will be a variety of Banner Self-Service training materials and sessions for Fact sheets and tutorials within this website should assist in meeting many of your Banner learning needs. We are also offering training sessions. These sessions are optional, but highly encouraged to facilitate your use of Banner Self-Service. Sessions are being offered at numerous times by members of the Self Service Committee. Please contact your department/school's representative for more information. Topics that may be reviewed include the following: 1. Verify a student's registration status. 2. Review a student's placement test scores. 3. Facilitate a student's registration planning. 4. Perform registration permits and overrides. 5. Display weekly class schedule and class rosters. 6. List office hours and course syllabi information for your classes. NOTE: Samford employees who will be using Internet Native Banner (INB) or are faculty advisors must attend and complete the relevant training session(s). Since there have been several updates to the Federal Privacy Act, it is recommended that all Samford employees complete the FERPA tutorial by the end of May 2007. Upon completing the tutorial, a record of your "attendance" will be sent to Human Resources.
