Current Students

Registration for current Samford University students will be guided by their respective advisors. Registration instructions can be found at the bottom of this webpage. Additional registration information and times can be found on the Student Records website.

Information regarding your access identifications, passwords and Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) are shown in the table below:

Current students will register via Banner Self-Service during the month of April. Banner Self-Service registration opens October 23, 2007.

Graduate and Metro Students:

Registration period is open. You may proceed with registration starting October 24th.
Graduate students are not required to have an alternate Personal Identification Number (PIN). You are encouraged, however, to confer with your advisor prior to proceeding with registration.
Metro students will be required to have a 6-digit alternate Personal Identification Number (PIN) to proceed with registration. The PIN can only be obtained from your advisor. You will need a different PIN for each term (Ex. If you are registering for Summer 2007 and Fall 2007 terms, you will need two different PIN numbers. However because Jan term is considered part of Spring term so you will not need a separate PIN for Jan term).

Professional Pharmacy Students

Due to the lock-step curriculum as a pharmacy student, you will be registered by the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the School of Pharmacy. Registration will not be accessible via Self-Service. However, all screens will be available for your viewing.

Undergraduate Students:

Depending upon the number of earned credits, your registration time will vary. A schedule of these times will be posted in October. Honors Program students' registration will begin on October 23rd.
As an undergraduate student, you will also be required to have a 6-digit alternate Personal Identification Number (PIN) to proceed with registration. The PIN can only be obtained from your advisor. You will need a different PIN for each term (Ex. If you are registering for Summer 2007 and Fall 2007 terms, you will need two different PIN numbers).

As this is the inaugural registration, we recommend you registering while on-campus. Along with Computer Services (726-2662), there are a number of faculty and staff available to assist you. A Registration Help Desk will be available in the Davis Library Computer Classroom on the following dates: October 24th 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.; October 29th 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.; November 5th 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.; November 12th 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
