General Information

 

The Banner System (SCT SunGard) is comprised of a set of integrated databases which are configured to allow Samford University to perform its administrative functions in a more efficient and uniform manner. Once fully implemented, the system will handle and integrate data from four functional areas: Finance, Human Resources, Student Registration, and Financial Aid.

 

Why change to Banner? Samford's current SCT PLUS products are 15+ years old and are based upon mainframe systems (flat files) that do not support full integration of data. Banner will increase access to and integration of campus data.
