The School of Business Advisory Board consists of 43 successful business men and women who support the School in a multitude of ways, including mentoring students, providing important internship and job placement to business graduates, and financially supporting the School's mission and activities.

Greg Powell, chair of the Advisory Board, and CEO of Fi-Plan Partners, a Birmingham-based financial services company, adds, “The Advisory Board at Samford Business is committed to seeing business students at Samford enjoy a world-class business education, and even more, to be connected to the business community from day one.”

In the past year, the Advisory Board has led efforts to improve the branding and marketing of the School, provided leadership to the Undergraduate Mentoring Initiative, helped to redesign the School's popular Evening MBA program, and contributed over $600,000 to the School to support various initiatives.
