Giving to the Brock School of Business is a very special way for alumni to demonstrate their pride to their alma mater. Now more than ever, donations from alumni, corporations and friends are critical to sustaining the high quality of our academic programs and to ensuring that the school offers a rewarding student experience. No matter the size, your gift makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.
Brock School of Business Excellence Fund - The Dean of the Brock School of Business uses these funds for enrichment opportunities for students and faculty mentors to promote excellence and take advantage of opportunities to enhance regular business education and research.
Gifts may be designated to the Brock School of Business Excellence Fund or to the individual department support funds:
- Accounting Program Excellence Fund
- Economics, Finance & Quantitative Analysis Excellence Fund
- Entrepreneurship Management & Marketing Excellence Fund
New Brock School of Business Building
The Brock School of Business has an outstanding faculty and staff dedicated to providing a 21st century business education for our students, but we believe this building is the next step in making the Brock School one of the nation's premier business schools. This state-of-the-art facility for educational instruction, faculty collaboration, student innovation and community partnership is expected to be completed by fall of 2015.
There are many ways to support and to be a part of this special project:
- Financial Gifts/Pledges towards the Brock School of Business Building Fund
- The Donor Wall will recognize donors with gifts $1000 or larger
- Pledges can be over five years (e.g. $200/year or $16.67/ month to reach $1000)

- Room Sponsorships are available for companies, families and foundations starting at $5000

On-Campus Student Business Incubator
Naming opportunity to support the new business incubator located at the Brock School of Business. Incubator aims to help students start new businesses by providing services such as collaborative work space, meeting rooms and professional guidance.
Endowed Faculty Appointments
Endowed Chairs and Professorships
Funds to name and establish endowed chairs or professorships in each of the critical disciplinary areas. Such gifts would permanently endow funds to attract and retain top professors in the Brock School of Business, and these new professorships would enable the School to offer expanded and high-quality programs in their designated areas.
Permanently endowed and named scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in the Brock School of Business. Minimum amounts for such funds would be $25,000 each, which would provide approximately $1,500 annually to a student. These scholarship funds can be sponsored by individuals, families or corporations.
Annual commitments can be signed for any amount of money, usually between $1,500-$5,000 per year for at least 3 years. These scholarship funds can be sponsored by individuals, families or corporations.
Corporate sponsorships are available for Samford Business Network (SBN) activities in Birmingham, Nashville, Atlanta, D.C. and other cities across the US. Sponsorships of quarterly breakfasts/lunches/receptions generally cost $3,500 - $5,000. Recognition of the sponsoring firm is given before and during the event. Other sponsorships also are available, including special programs, mini-Birmingham networking events and lectures.
