Samford Marketing Network
The Samford Marketing Network is a group of university-wide, unit-level communicators and external relations officers from all areas that meets regularly for networking, idea generation, knowledge sharing, professional development opportunities and training for topics of interest. The network works collaboratively to ensure that the university’s best interests are met with marketing initiatives and that these initiatives reflect the university’s strategic plan. Through this network, the Office of Marketing and Communication will update marketers on any university-wide initiatives in the planning phases. This group can communicate with one another about program or unit-specific marketing plans to ensure optimum external impact for the university. This group also can triage requests for market research, advertising and other marketing initiatives and encourage shared investments across units on projects of interest.
The Samford Marketing Network is convened by the executive director of university marketing and communication.
