Call for Panelists

Call for Panelists for the 2012 Southeast/Southwest People of Color Legal Scholarship Conference

The 2012 Southeast/Southwest People of Color Legal Scholarship Conference will take place in Birmingham, Alabama.  Throughout the globe, Birmingham resonates as the epicenter of the modern civil rights movement for racial equality and justice.  Hosting the 2012 meeting of the SE/SW People of Color Legal Scholarship Conference offers a unique opportunity to evaluate critically our present state of effectuating substantive legal, political, social, and economic transformation thorough advocacy, scholarship and praxis.  The SE/SW People of Color Legal Scholarship Conference issues this call for panelists who will offer valuable perspectives on the ways in which we might assess our efficacy in the above areas in scholarship, advocacy and praxis. Panels will consist of respondents to this call for panelists as well as invited scholars.
