Bulldogs Are Winners At Wake

The Samford Debate Bulldogs returned home for the Wake Forest University Tournament with a winning record, further cementing the squad's ability to succeed on a national level.
The Wake Forest University tournament is the largest tournament of the first semester, hosting over 160 two-person teams. The squad qualified three teams for the tournament, and the Bulldogs came home with a winning record as a squad. The teams of Nick Agnello & Clark Bowers, John Wilkerson & Chad Macumber, and Erin Ramsey & Logan Gramzinski all shared in the effort.
The squad defeated numerous national circuit teams including: Wichita State, Emporia State, Wayne State, Case Western Reserve, Miami of Ohio, Macalester, Boston College, the Naval Academy, Missouri State, Weber State, Towson, and teams from last year's national champion squad, Michigan State.
The Bulldogs have earned a well-deserved rest, and will debate again starting in January.
