Samford dominates at Miami(OH)

The Samford Bulldogs dominated the Miami(OH) tournament by winning the tournament and having two other teams in elimination rounds. Senior Clark Bowers and Junior Nick Agnello won the final round 3-0 over the team of Sydney Pasquinelli and Mike Markovick from Wayne State University. Sophmore Chad Macumber and Freshman Josh Smith made it to the Octafinals, and Freshman Logan Gramzinski and Sophmore Erin Ramsey made it all the way to the Semi-Finals.
In addition, several debaters were recognized for the individual speaking. Nick Agnello was the top speaker at the tournament, and Chad Macumber (16th), Logan Gramzinski(10th), Clark Bowers(8th), and Erin Ramsey(3rd) also won awards.
The Bulldogs defeated teams from Augustana College, Clarion University, John Carroll University, the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, the University of Pittsburgh, Wayne State University, and Weber State University.
