Samford Wins Big in Atlanta

At the squad's first tournament in Atlanta, Georgia, the team of David Williams and Josh Smith advanced to the final four of the Junior Varsity division, marking an excellent start to Samford's 2006 debate season.

Junior Nick Agnello and Senior Clark Bowers had a winning record in the Varsity division, defeating teams from Dartmouth, Georgetown, Wake Forest, Missouri State, and regional rival West Georgia College.

Samford looks forward to the release of the national rankings and its continued success as one of the top debate programs in the country.
