Samford Debate Returns From Success in the Bluegrass State

The Samford Debate team had an incredibly successful tournament at the University of Kentucky in Lexington this weekend.  The squad had a winning record at one of the most important national circuit tournaments in the first semester, and defeated a top ten rated team from the University of California at Berkeley.

Nick Agnello and Clark Bowers scored the big victory, with Agnello claiming it was perhaps "the biggest win of his debate career."  Agnello is a junior political science major at Samford, and Bowers is a senior political science major and writing minor.

The Bulldogs next head off to Vanderbilt University in Nashville to continue their winning ways.
