Michelle Joiner grew up in Montevallo, Alabama.  After receiving her Bachelor of Science from the University of Montevallo, she worked in the travel industry as well as property management prior to beginning work at Samford in 1996.  She has filled various roles across campus in multiple departments, and since 2008 has served as Assistant Registrar and Technical Coordinator.  Michelle earned her Master of Science in Education degree from Samford's Orlean Beeson School of Education in 2019.  Michelle is married to David, is the proud mother of two sons, Kerry (a 2020 Samford grad) and Stephen, and loves British TV.
