Last fall, Samford teacher education students and students from Miles College planned a multicultural fair for 2nd graders at EPIC School. Students were divided into groups representing different countries and played games, learned cultural dances and made crafts representing the culture of their country.



Samford fifth-year non-traditional students participated in a dialogue about diversity with students from Miles College.


Teacher Education candidates spend significant amounts of time at Trace Crossings Elementary School where they teach lessons and assist children as part of a K-12 school-university partnership with their teacher education preparation. Some of the students from Trace Crossings performed at a Samford basketball game.
