Seniors Prepare to Graduate

The end of 2006-2007 is fast approaching, and the English Department anxiously awaits the graduation of this year's seniors! Between the English Deparment's Capstone course, making other post-graduation plans, studying for orals exams, and participating in the Sigma Tau Delta Conference in Pittsburgh, PA, our seniors have been busy! For those students about to graduate, these last weeks are both hectic and exciting!
Our seniors are headed all sorts of places after graduation! Some, like Amy Saxon and Shelby Crowe, plan to attend graduate schools all over the country for Masters' degrees and perhaps doctorates. Some, like Calen Verbist and Stephen Sansom, plan to teach on both the secondary and undergraduate level. Others, like Mary Keown, are embarking immediately on careers in which they will use their skills and knowledge in English.
The English Department will be sorry to see so many seniors go - best of luck!
