Eric Olson is a full-time faculty member in the School of the Arts, where he teaches Scenic Art, Scenic and Costumer Design, History of Fashion and Costume and Theatre Appreciation. He has been a member of the Samford faculty for almost 40 years. As a member of the Theatre Department, he teaches Scenic Art, Scenic and Costumer Design, History of Fashion and Theatre Appreciation. He is a veteran of approximately four hundred theatre, dance, opera, commercial and television designs in the area of scenic, lighting, makeup and costume. His contributions have been seen from London's National Theatre, assisting in the world premier of Tony Kushner's Angels in America, Part II: Perestroika, to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival's stage, creating the scenic design for Driving Miss Daisy.
