Charges

This Committee shall have responsibility for:

administering the writing proficiency examination,
monitoring the "W" courses,
advising the University Writing Program director(s),
articulating the University Writing Program's purposes and philosophy to the faculty,
encouraging participation in writing workshops, and
representing the needs of the faculty and students of all schools to the directors.
