Biographical Information
As an Eagle Scout, AP Scholar, and competitive water skier, Jay has always been an active member of his community, so it is no surprise that he is also involved at Samford. His freshman year, Jay earned the award for the highest grade in accelerated intermediate Spanish, joined Alpha Lambda Delta, and made the Dean's List. This summer, he worked in Birmingham with Impact Alabama's College First initiative. Here, he tutored underprivileged high school students in preparation for AP English.
