An Alpha Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction, Margaret’s involvement with academics, athletics, and service made her a very well-rounded student. Margaret attended Georgia Governor’s Honors Program for Communicative Arts, which led to her innovation in being Yearbook Editor-In-Chief, for which she earned a nomination for The Ledger Enquirer’s Page One award in Journalism in addition to winning the PEO Star Scholarship. She was also a member of Beta Club and two honor societies. Furthermore, Margaret’s love of service extends beyond school through her dedication to Peer Helpers, Habitat for Humanity, and her church.
