Stone, a National Merit Finalist, continued his history of student council involvement by serving as an SGA Senator. Additionally, he is a member of the Honor Code Committee, which is in the process of drafting an honor code for Samford. This summer, Stone attended a Fulbright Summer Institute in Durham, England, where he studied the history and culture of ancient Rome and medieval England while participating in a major archaeological excavation. He also worked as the Continual Improvement Intern for Kimray, Inc., and assisted at Samford’s JD Calling program as a counselor. In the fall, in addition to his other commitments, Stone will serve as the humanities co-editor for the Samford Undergraduate Research Journal.
