Biographical Information

A Beeson Exceptional Scholar, Adam is active in multiple areas on campus, including being a member of Omicron Delta Kappa honor society and working as a tutor in Samford’s Communication Resource Center. However, he has engaged in academics all over the world; in the summer of 2012 alone, he participated in an archaeological dig in Israel and a Fulbright Summer Institute in Northern Ireland. This past spring, Adam spent the semester studying in London at Samford’s Daniel House. Upon his return in the fall, Adam will begin serving as the Opinion Editor for the Samford Crimson and the President of Samford’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society. Additionally, his paper “Hysteria and the Performance of Masculinity: A Feminist Reading of James Joyce’s ‘A Painful Case’” will be published in The Oswald Review.
