After you upload your revised resume to www.samfordbulldogs.org AND attend the Interviewing Workshop, you will receive an e-mail advising you that your resume has been approved. Your resume must be approved before you may sign up for interviews.

| February - March 11 | Meet with Lindsay Seaborn in the Career Development Center for a Resume Critique. Put the finishing touches on your resume, and contact school systems of interest to request an application. Ask for specific application instructions, as many procedures differ. |
| February - March | Begin networking -- Contact former employers, school teachers, friends, faculty members, etc. Inform them of your career search goals. |

DEADLINE FOR UPLOADING RESUME After your meeting with Lindsay Seaborn in the CDC, revise your resume and upload it to www.samfordbulldogs.org. |

Interviewing Panel Presentation - REQUIRED to PARTICIPATE in Teacher Interview Day. If you have an emergency that prevents your attendance, please call the CDC at 726-2980 to schedule a time to view the Interviewing Skills for Teachers presentation. NOTE: No one will be allowed to interview without either attending the workshop or viewing the presentation. Following the Interviewing Panel, all critiqued and uploaded resumes will be approved for everyone in attendance. Once you resume is approved, you may begin to sign up for interviews immediately. |
| March 24, 2008 | DEADLINE TO SIGN UP FOR INTERVIEWS. When you finish signing up for interviews, remember to print a copy of your interview schedule. |
| March 2008 | Research the school systems with whom you will interview. Plan your interview attire. Professional business attire is most appropriate. Ask if you are unsure about professional dress. |
