There is nothing like the love of a sister- especially a sorority sister. She is a true friend, a shoulder to cry on, an encouraging word, and there when you need her most. To quote William James, "Where ever you are, it is your friends who make your world," and our chapter personifies these words. Chi Omega is a part of our collegiate world and each young woman who is a member of our chapter makes our world so special. THe friendships formed and lessons learned do not end after your four years as an active member, but will last long after college.

College is an excellent time for growth. Chi Omeaga believes in the importance of leadership, friendship and scholarship. The sisterhood is here to help you grow in each of these areas in order to become the woman you were meant to be.

Now, all seriousness aside, another part of college is about having fun of course! SOme of the best times I have had at Samford have been with my Chi-Omega sisters. Whether is be last minute road trips, sisterhood dinners, retreats, Step Sing, or just hanging out in the chapter room these girls make laugh and enjoy everyday more and more.

Throughout the year there are several events speciffically designed to unite over chapter even more. In the fall semester there is a sisterhood retreat and a big holiday dinner where we decorate the house for Christmas. In the spring we also have a sisterhood dinner as well as movie nights, and pledge class mixers. You never know what other fun things may be up our sleeves.

Chi-Omega is for a lifetime-a lifetime full of irreplaceable memories, sincere relationships, hours of laughter, tears, talking, and most importantly, a place to call your own.
