Dear Potential New Member, We want YOU to know us! To Chi Omega, recruitment is a unique opportunity to share who we are as a chapter. In sharing who we are, we hope to communicate to you the types of things that unite us, and bring us together as a chapter. We want you to know what we value, what we think is important, and what we strive to accomplish together as a chapter. It is our hope that you will find our chapter to be comprised of genuine, intriguing, well-rounded young women. We also hope to communicate to you the diversity and broad range of gifts and abilities you will find in our group of girls. We believe our differences have just as much potential to strengthen our bonds, as do our commonalities. We encourage you to enter into the recruitment with an open and eager mind. Then we encourage you to look specifically for what it is that you value, what you stand for, what you hope for, what you wish to add to your life. Where you find these things, is where you belong. Recruitment is the beginning of your relationship with the Greek system at Samford. This means that it is also a time for you to share a little of yourself. Share with us the types of things we share with you, and it is then that you will find the best fit, the place in which you will feel most at home. We look forward to seeing you in September! Please don't hesitate to ask your Rho Gammas any and every question you might have about recruitment, and be sure to attend the Panhellenic forums in the fall to understand the mutual selection process that creates the new members for each sorority! See you soon!      - Katie Horrell(Recruitment Chair)
