Tutoring

The Office of Freshman Life maintains two lists for academic tutoring on Samford's campus. These tutors are available for any Samford student. Tutoring that is needed for the community for high school students should be directed to the Career Development Center.

Academic Tutoring by Departments
Departmental Tutoring is available during regular hours each week as determined by the department. Some departments however prefer that you contact the department chair directly for individual appointments.

Private Academic Tutoring for a Fee
A list of tutors recommended by departments is maintained by our office and updated each semester. The individual tutor sets the fee charged for his services. We do not pair students with a private tutor, it is the responsibility of the student to contact them.
