Omicron Delta Kappa Society, Inc. is The National Leadership Honor Society for college students. Membership in OΔK is a mark of highest distinction and honor; it is the recognition of superior scholarship, leadership, and exemplary character.
The purpose of OΔK is to recognize those who have attained a high standard of efficiency in collegiate activities, and inspire others to do the same. The society also brings together the most representative students in all phases of collegiate life, as well as members of the faculty on a basis of mutual interest, understanding, and helpfulness.
Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes achievement in five major phases of community life: scholarship; athletics; campus or community service; social and religious activities, and campus government; journalism, speech and the mass media; and the creative and performing arts. Emphasis is placed on the development of the whole person, both as a member of the college community and as a contributor to a better society.
