Service-Learning Course Development Project
For the academic years of 2005-07, a Service-Learning Course Development Project was sponsored by the SIM Program and the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship. Faculty selected participated in a service-learning academy, implemented service-learning into an existing or new course, taught the course, and documented the service-learning experience through a course portfolio or a scholarly article. Stipends were awarded for faculty chosen to participate in the project.
