
1959-Present:
In 1959 A.P. Longshore was in charge of building the Sigma Nu house on Samford's campus in Homewood. It was the first fraternity house on Samford's campus.
In 1974 David Chestnut won the honar of Sigma Nu's National Scholar of the year, and in 1977 Dan McCrary was the 1000th Iota initiate.
The Iota Chapter moved to it's new house on Samford's West Campus in 1990. In 1991, Ron Beasley was the first candidate to be initiated in the new house.
Also in 1991, Goeff Rice was responsible for the construction of the "Wall of Fame" located in the lobby of the new house.
