Planning to take courses at another
college or university over the summer? |
Then you need to complete a Transient Enrollment Form (aka Letter of Good Standing Request). Be sure to provide course descriptions from the institution you are planning to attend before securing department approval. (Course descriptions must accompany the Transient Enrollment Form when it's submitted to the Office of Student Records.)
You can access most college catalogs via the following link: http://www.collegesource.org/search/alpha.asp
(this link only works if accessing it from a Samford IP address).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember to instruct the college or university you are attending to send a transcript to Samford. They will not do so automatically, so you may have to complete a written request. Check with that school for their procedure. Transcripts of summer transient work should be sent to the following address:
Samford University
Office of Student Records
800 Lakeshore Drive
Birmingham, AL 35229
