Welcome to University Health Services

In partnership with St. Vincent’s Health Systems, Samford University is pleased to provide health care services to the entire campus community – students and employees. This partnership builds on the strong faith-based mission of both the university and the St. Vincent’s system.

Services

As a full-functioning healthcare facility staffed by a physician, the clinic provides primary medical care services, including acute care for illness and injuries, health maintenance and management of stable, chronic conditions.

In partnership with St. Vincent’s staff, University Health Services will be offering wellness programs throughout the year.

Location

Conveniently located in new space in F. Page Seibert Hall, University Health Services now has three examination rooms, a treatment room, triage area and on-site CLIA-certified lab. The clinic entrance is located on the east side of Seibert Hall.

Hours

Spring 2013: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Friday 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Closed for lunch 12:00-1:00 pm.

Insurance

University Health Services accepts most health care plans and can file your claim for you. Samford University employees participating in Samford’s Blue Cross Blue Shield plan will have the extra benefit of reduced co-pay ($15) for services rendered in University Health Services.
