- Links to online tutorials for Outlook 2007, Excel 2007, and PowerPoint 2007 have now been added under Training. We will be scheduling another round of Positive Interactions classes as well as some other classroom training. Dates and times for these classes will be announced soon.
- Financial education webinars from TIAA-CREF have been added on our website in the Tax Deferred Annuity section. These can be accessed from any pc and run anywhere from 10-20 minutes in length. Currently there are six different web presentations that can be viewed. There is a moderator that goes through slides. We have also added helpful links to retirement planning tools and calculators from both TIAA-CREF and GuideStone in the Tax Deferred Annuity section.
Upcoming Events
• Meetings will be held on the Samford campus regarding the addition of Preferred Long Term Care (LTC) from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama to Samford's benefits pacakge. You may attend either or both of these sessions but you must attend an individual session in order to purchase LTC:
Wednesday June 25 – Classroom DBH112 general sessions with a power point presentation at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:00a and 1:30 and 2:30p.
Thursday June 26 – Conference room UC112, individual sessions on a walk in basis. LTC representatives available from 8:30a-11:30a and 1:30p-3:30p
There will be additional meetings in July and September.
