The event included panelists from Samford and the community, with Dr. Fred Shepherd, Dr. Mike Floyd, Azalea Hulbert, Taylor Bell, and Austin Davis representing Samford. They were joined by Zayne Smith, Immigrant Policy Fellow at the Alabama Appleseed Center for Law and Justice; Dr. Mark Bateman served as moderator.

This event was part of the Mann Center's ongoing series of Courageous Conversations, and was co-sponsored by University Ministries.
