Dr. Mark Douglas, Associate Professor of Christian Ethics at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA, spoke at Samford on Thursday, October 11th, 2012. That evening, he spoke on religion in the public square to an audience of students, faculty, and guests from the larger Birmingham community.
Mark is the founding editor of @ this point: theological reflections on church and culture, the seminary’s online journal. He holds degrees from Colorado College, Princeton Theological Seminary, and The University of Virginia. His most recent book is Believing Aloud: Reflections on Being Religious in the Public Square. He is currently working on a book about the impact of climate change on war.
