Program Manager, Frances Marlin Mann Center for Ethics and Leadership

Azalea M. Hulbert serves as program manager for the Frances Marlin Mann Center for Ethics and Leadership at Samford University. She earned the Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Human Environmental Sciences with a minor in Spanish from the University of North Alabama, and the Master of Business Administration from Samford University. Prior to joining the Mann Center, Azalea held administrative support positions in Samford’s Brock School of Business and the Office of Admission.

In her current role, Azalea is primarily responsible for many of the core projects of the Mann Center. She leads the center’s academic integrity initiatives, working collaboratively with faculty, staff and students from Samford and other universities to identify and implement best practices, and is regional director of the ICAI Southeast consortium on academic integrity. She manages the center’s events, including student programs, lecture series, and international initiatives. She is also responsible for the public image of the center, managing the center’s communications strategy, website, and social media presence.

Azalea is currently chair of the board of directors of The Abridge Foundation, a local organization that bridges the gap between resources and families with special needs. She periodically serves as a consultant to companies in diverse industries, and plans to pursue a PhD in the near future. She lives in Hoover with her husband, Ryan.
