At the invitation of Ms. Suzanne Mubarak, former First Lady of Egypt, Mann Center Director John Knapp was a keynote speaker, panelist and participant in the work of Egypt’s National Council for Women (NCW). The NCW promotes equity for women and in 2009 hosted a national conference on “Women’s Leadership and Social Justice.”
