"Rediscovering the American Soul: A Conversation with Jacob Needleman"

Bestselling author and philosopher Dr. Jacob Needleman visited Samford University on November 15th and 16th, 2010. On the evening of the 15th, he gave a lecture with insights from his book The American Soul: Rediscovering the Wisdom of the Founders. The event was well-attended, with guests from the university and the community.

During his visit, Dr. Needleman also gave a presentation on "Philosophy as a Spiritual Search" to a large group of Samford undergraduate students, as part of the Mann Center's ongoing A. Gerow Hodges Lectures in Ethics and Leadership.
