The Oxford Conclave on Global Higher Education, directed by Dr. John Knapp, is a retreat for U. S. university presidents held at the University of Oxford. The Oxford Conclave has involved presidents of more than 60 universities since 2005. The retreat fosters productive dialog about the timeless missions of colleges and universities as communities of moral formation and purpose, and has allowed leaders to re-envision higher education as a catalyst for change in the 21st century. Co-founded by Dr. Betty L. Siegel, president emeritus of Kennesaw State University, it is convened and facilitated by Dr. Knapp.
