Grayson and Smith Receive Top Awards at Opening Convocation
Political science professor Marissa Grayson received Samford University's John H. Buchanan Award for Excellence in Classroom Teaching. Beth Smith, director of graduate admission for Samford's Howard College of Arts and Sciences, received the Bill Nunnelley Award for outstanding job performance by a non-faculty employee. The awards were presented at semester-opening convocation Aug. 30.
