Samford University’s chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma, the national pharmacy leadership society, has elected officers for 2011-12.

Second-year pharmacy student Leigh Conner of Murfreesboro, Tenn., was elected president. Elected vice president was third-year pharmacy student Jenny Baldone of Alabaster, Ala.

Elected secretary was third-year pharmacy student Andrew Mardis, and second-year pharmacy student Autumn Bagwell was elected treasurer. Both Bagwell and Mardis are from Birmingham.

Third-year pharmacy students Lauren Ellison of Trussville, Ala., Maggee Oliver of Albertville, Ala., and Christian Conley of Oviedo, Fla., were elected historians.
