Dr. Lisa Skelton has been named associate dean of students at Samford University. She will be the University Values Advocate and will also supervise Samford’s career development, counseling and information centers, and health services. She will assume the post on September 1.
Skelton was most recently director of residence life at the University of Alabama, where she was also an adjunct professor.
A National Certified Counselor, Skelton holds a master’s degree in counseling and doctorate in administration of higher education, both from the University of Alabama.
