U.S. Congressman Artur Davis will address history and political science students
at Samford University Thursday, Dec. 4, at 1 p.m. in Brock Forum, located in
Dwight Beeson Hall. The public is invited.
Davis will discuss his economic initiatives in central and west Alabama,
the importance of voter registration and participation, and other topics.
Davis was elected to represent Alabama’s seventh congressional district
in January. The Montgomery native is a graduate of Harvard University and Harvard
Law School.
His Dec. 4 lecture is sponsored by Samford’s Department of Political Science.
