"War, Iraq and God: A Conversation Among Christians" will be the
topic of a panel discussion at Samford University Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 3:30
p.m. in the moot courtroom of Robinson law building. The public is invited free
of charge.
The program is sponsored by Samford's Beeson Divinity School and Cumberland
School of Law.
Panelists are: law professors David Smolin and Leonard J. Nelson, divinity
visiting professor Dr. Wilton Bunch, author and activist James Douglass, and
Southern Baptist Convention ethics and religious liberty commission president
Richard Land.
The panelists will present a variety of points of view on the topic. A question
and answer session will follow their individual presentations.
Cumberland distinguished professor Gov. Albert P. Brewer will moderate.
