The Community Banking School of Samford University will graduate a class of 27 Tuesday (Sept. 14). The graduates, from 18 counties, have completed two years of courses sponsored by the Samford School of Business and the Community Bankers Association of Alabama (CBAA).
James P. Hayes, Jr., Commissioner of Revenue, State of Alabama, will speak at the noon graduation ceremony in the Flag Colonnade Room, Beeson University Center. Samford School of Business Dean Dr. Carl J. Bellas will present the certificates.
The Community Banking School, established in 1993, offers management education to bankers throughout Alabama. Classes provide intensive study of all aspects of community banking, including customer service and bank operations, loans and regulations and bank management.
Samford business professor John Venable is director. Scott Latham is executive director, CBAA. Dave Bryant is president, CBAA.
