Retired Lexmark International chief executive officer Marvin Mann will discuss values and ethics in business at Samford University Tuesday, April 4, at 10 a.m. in Dwight Beeson Hall Auditorium. The public is invited.
Mann, former chairman, president and CEO of Lexmark International, is a 1954 Samford graduate.
He will speak at Samford as the School of Business' A. Gerow Hodges lecturer. The series honors longtime Birmingham insurance executive and Samford trustee A. Gerow Hodges.
Mann served for 32 years with IBM, where he held numerous senior management positions before the leveraged buyout of Lexmark from IBM in 1991. Lexmark International is a global developer, manufacturer and supplier of printer solutions and products.
He serves as a trustee of Fidelity Investments and chairman emeritus of Lexmark.
